Flute and clarinet

Ventus is an innovative and boundary-pushing chamber music ensemble consisting of flute and clarinet. The duo formed by Louise Mogensen and Michaela Hansen, is known for their captivating performances and interdisciplinary projects.

Our story

Michaela found a chamber music competition in Japan. Louise was on board with the idea to create an ensemble. So we quit our day jobs to fully embark on the journey as a chamber music ensemble. It’s not about the flute and clarinet; it’s about the connection we share when we play together.

is one of friendship

The competition in Japan was an incredible experience for us. We had an absolute blast and concluded that our primary focus from that day on was chamber music. It has been years of dedication, studying, and traveling to various competitions worldwide. We have a great passion for music, traveling, culture and last but not least: food.

and pursuing dreams

Our primary aim is to have a great time while pushing the boundaries of what is possible. We firmly believe that there are no limits to what we can achieve. We foster a democratic and inclusive community where every artist is invited to join us as equals. Together, we strive to bring people together through the power of our music.
